Super nice colonial style hotel. I would go there just for the atmosphere. It is not the most modern obviously, but in a good shape. That you need to ring a bell every time you enter the hotel is a bit surprising, but the staff was very responsive. It is not super central, but most things are still in walking distance (if you are a decent walker) and San Francisco any way has a good bus system. Parking is directly next to the hotel which was convenient. I would definitely go there again next time, just because of the flair and the colonial rooms :).

Beautiful Victorian, over the top decoration....old style luxury. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was very complete; however, arriving early is recommended to enjoy a wider variety of options. The staff was very kind and attentive.

The whole hotel interior design is incredible! all victorian antique furniture, wall papers and a lot of attention to details. the rooms as well as all the halls and the big comfortable lobby (i would live there...) the Sherry and cookies there share every afternoon.

“A memorable experience in this charming hotel.”

The hotel lived up to its image as a grand old establishment, and the furnishings and decor were lavish and extravagant! The hotel was clean and met all our needs very well. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the car provided in the mornings was very handy until we knew our way around a bit better. The hotel has a lovely piano, and some quirky USPs like serving mid-afternoon sherry and cookies, as well as some other nice touches which made our stay even more relaxed and welcoming.

Check-in was seamless, the staff was inviting and helpful, the decor was unique, and the overall history, makes the Queen Anne a gem in San Francisco. Location was great, and quiet.

A lovely hotel in a historic building, beautifully restored. The rooms and public areas have great charm. The staff are exceptionally helpful. The location is fantastic. Best area from which to explore different neighborhoods in San Francisco.

it's a step back in time. beautifully preserved hotel with modern amenities. we have enjoyed the breakfast, friendly staffs and excellent service to make our stay comfortable. the complimentary city car to send us to where we want to go in the city was a very nice surprise!
