Love staying at The Inn. The authenticity of the building is mind-boggling in its preservation and decor. Guests can actually feel how the Victorians lived in such magnificent beauty. Marty and his staff are wonderful—friendly, fun, and professional. Breakfast is beautifully presented, with much variety, and attention to detail. The 24-hour access to coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water was super.

Delightful building, beautifully decorated and furnished in Victorian style. Felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was gorgeous with tea and coffee available throughout the day. So peaceful and relaxing. A great base for exploring the colourful Mission district.

We loved everything, the inn, the room, the roof top and its amazing view, the staff, the jacuzzi and garden, the possibility to have parking (in supplement, if needed), etc.

“Not what I expected”

The location was where we wanted to be. The area was full of restaurants we were able to walk or drive to. The availability of a garage was very helpful.

“Charming Historic Stay”

The house is a little piece of SF history, with much of its original decoration and charm maintained. The rooms are huge and well furnished. The back garden and small roof gardens are very pretty and secluded and provide the opportunity to eat breakfast or take coffee outside, if the weather allows.

The hotel is so beautiful, we felt absolutely lucky to be able to stay in this building full of history. Meeting the owner Marty, was an absolute pleasure. The breakfast was delicious and the room very comfortable.

The inn is a fabulous Victorian building--grand and also welcoming and comfortable. The dining rooms were filled with period antiques and vintage photos of San Francisco, Yosemite etc. Breakfast was wonderful--lots of fresh fruit options.

Absolutely loved my stay here. It’s the most beautiful, quaint and classic building. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and nicely furnished. The downstairs eating area was simply stunning, and had such a nice atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed spending time with Marty over breakfast, getting to know about the history of the building. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in San Francisco!

Very welcoming hotel. Great location, easy access to public buses and thus all of the city. Staff very helpful without being overbearing or intrusive. A grand old dame of a building that we appreciated being able to stay in
