The public areas were adorable, a nice lobby, lounge and kitchen. I appreciated the amenities in the lobby, such as free coffee, cheap snacks and toiletries. The private room was quite comfy as well. The staff were super friendly and had great tips to help us find our way to the OAK airport out.

Unbeatable price during RSAC 2026. Central location, very friendly and helpful staff, good kitchen and shower facilities, good free and paid activities offered. Very close to BART to travel to and from the airport.

“A miserable experience”

The hostel was grimy. Dirty showers, toilets and carpets all around. Also, no social atmosphere - most guests seem to be there for work or conferences, so common spaces are taken over by people on zoom calls or working on their laptops. No events within the hostel to meet other people. And on top of that, the staff is very stand-offish and unhelpful. Generally, a miserable experience.

It’s near to all, you have a lot of stores, restaurants near.

I really like the cleanliness very much. The private bathroom for 4-bed female dormitory is the best choice as a female traveler who doesn't want spend much money in accomodation. There's a kitchen, lounge, and meeting room (workspace) as well. Worth the price!

Location is good.

Location - very close to city centre Union Square. Just 2 minutes walk to Powell St where you can catch the cable car. The room is quite small (like 4 people cannot unload/fix their luggages at the same time - I had to temporarily leave the room to give space to others). Internet works quite well. There’s a lift in the property as well. They also have big kitchen for everyone’s use and you can refill your water bottle anytime.
