Fantastic location, next to Union Square. A historic building restored and maintained well. Discount coupons available at restaurants close by for meals. Room amenities were good.

“Would Recommend!”
Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, great value for money. Stand out was the staff though - they were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were greeted every time we entered/left the property which was a very personable touch. Would recommend to anyone staying in SF!

“Very good location; smelly carpet”
Really good location for a first time visitor! All the staff were really polite and helpful! The highlight of the room were the pillows which were extremely comfortable and also there was complementary coffee and tea in the room!! Furthermore when we requested for an extra blanket we were additionally offered a portable heater which was really appreciated!!!

Overall, I’ve had a great experience staying here. It’s centrally located and easy to reach from the airport, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. While the hotel itself isn’t new and feels a bit tired, the rooms are clean and well-equipped. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Just be aware that it borders on a less pleasant area so exercise caution. However, I felt quite safe during my stay.

“Good location but below expectation”
Excellent location. It is very easy to get to and from the airport, even with luggage, as you can walk through the station and exit just one block from the hotel. The internet connection worked well throughout my stay, and the front desk staff were always friendly, professional, and helpful.

The room was clean and well equipped. The hotel location was excellent. The gym was spacious and the hotel also had a lovely heated outdoor pool. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful and I felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as I arrived. It was a real oasis of calm in what can be a daunting city.
