“BEWARE of the man at the reception desk!”

BEWARE! I’m a guy in his twenties. The Indian male aged approx 60 who works there after showing me my room proceeded to linger in my room after he’d shown me everything & setup a working fan for the room. He would not leave except just stand & stare at me. He asked where I was from & then began eyeing me & saying how strong the people are from my country were. Next thing I know, he’s squeezing my bicep & his hand makes his way towards my crotch. I grabbed his hand immediately and lightly pushed it away trying to remain professional and polite. GET RID OF THIS MAN!! I was hesitant to write this and not take myself seriously as this happened on March 26th at approx 12pm & from my country telephone calls to the USA cost a fortune so I cannot call to report this. But it made the stay for me quite uncomfortable. If it’s happened to me, I fear it’s happened to other males or females or is going to. Please take the review seriously & I advise you find an alternative place. No member of staff should be putting their hands on guests. Thankfully nothing happened after this for the rest of the week & I only encountered him when pressing the buzzer to let me inside twice. But I thought it was important to write this just incase.

Location.

We did not stay at the property. The neighbourhood is homess central so be aware. The entrance has 3 security gates to access the hotel. We did not feel safe here so we went elsewhere. The management were nice enough and kept only 1 night's fee instead of the 3 I would've had to pay.

Very central. Close to the Airport Bart Train. And the Cable cars,. Close to Union Square. It was quiet inside my room. Very good value for money if you just want a bed for the night, and a hot shower. I would stay again.

Great helpful staff and price hard to beat

It's relatively clean. There is a sink in the room where you can wash your face and brush your teeth. There's also a refrigerator, which is good. Although there is only one bathroom, it is not crowded and can be used whenever you want. The microwave is opposite Reception. In DownTown San Francisco, the price is very cheap. There are a lot of homeless on the streets, but they have no interest in people passing by, so don't be afraid.

The location is very convenient. Its walking distance from the BART station. The room is pretty decent-sized and very clean.

“We were scared for our lives the tenderloin district is terrible oh my God”

Overall this day was horrible my girlfriend and I stayed there for a family function we had to go to we were looking for something cheap and very close to my family's house but it didn't all end that way. My girlfriend and I woke up to our door being rattled by someone I got up open the door this guy was running down the stairwell with the bat in his hand we Believe he was attempting to Rob us. That forced my girlfriend and I to be scared to where we had to leave at 3:45 in the morning. My girlfriend and I broke out with a very serious rash on our bodies well we went to the doctor we found out that they were bed bugs so we had to throw away all of our clothes because we didn't want to bring anything into our apartment so overall this day was just horrible terrible frightening expensive for nothing and unforgivable thank you

“Good that it was short”

The location was in the city center close to attractions.

A very cool budget hotel in the very downtown. There are a lot of public transport stops nearby. Great staff, quiet and comfortable rooms. I will definitely come back here again.

The staff was super nice

The couple who run the hotel are very friendly, even let us use an en-suite bathroom they had just cleaned rather than the shared bathroom for showering one morning. Comfy bed, generally quite clean.
