Surrounded by its private park, 2 km from central San Daniele del Friuli, Agriturismo Contessi is a working farm producing vegetables and fruit. The property offers free Wi-Fi. “Stunning Location and 5 Star Hosts”
This place was amazing in a stunning location. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Typical authentic rural Italy . Alice and Manuel were the most perfect hosts. Went above and beyond for us . Even collected a wheelchair for us at last minute from a shop in the village. The breakfast was first class and made from their own farm and land from scratch. Manuel was an amazing chef. We will definitely be returning 😀

“Friendly and relaxing”
Very friendly and welcoming host, excellent breakfast served at the table. The location was just outside of town and very quiet. We loved everything about our time at Agroturismo Contessi

Very nice hotel run by a couple, who give a very personal feeling. I recommend the hotel to people with families and small children. There is a farm nearby with donkeys and geese. The room stanard is OK, very clean. Amazing breakfast with everything home made: bread, muffins, jam, yogurt, you name it. Peaceful location with great views. Close to a bike route. The owners are very helpful.

“Comfortable stay in Friuli.”
Not for the first time and for sure for the last time we visited Contessi and again we are not disapointed. As always very friendly owner serving a very good breakfast and the rooms are also as he had been last very comfort and clean. But you need to have a transport otherwise its a steep way into San Daniele.

“Lovely little Farm with great food close to San Daniele”
Manuel and Alice created a wonderful spot close to San Daniele. Beautiful rooms with aircondition and a stunning view to the surrounding mountains! Breakfast is awesome! The kitchen artist Manuel has the best creations you ever had. I didnt know any of the dishes but Alice will explain each of them. On Friday and Saturday they have also dinner which is a absolute must! Local Meat and homegrown veggies and fruits from the farm are the base for Manuels passion and fantasy. San Daniele & some Attractions like the Castles and the River Tagliamento are close. We had a great time and will come again!

“Fabulous experience”
Staying in this Agroturismo with Alice and Manuel was one of the highlights of out Italian trip. Unfortunately we spent only a night here, but it is enough to understand the level of commitment and devotion owners invest into this place. Amazing food, great comfort, meticulous cleanliness.
