This charming colonial city has beautiful cobbled streets and many historic buildings.

Beautiful hotel in such a great central location! Comfortable beds and good pillows. Large walk in hot showers. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Fast turn around laundry if you need it. Gorgeous design. We would recommend.

Sombra del Agua is a beautiful hotel in the very center of San Cristóbal. The staff is super professional and helpful, they helped us book a tour and were always kind and available. Breakfast was exceptionally good, we couldn’t try the restaurant for a full meal but I imagine it was as well. Super experience

Beautiful hacienda - our room was in the basement, with not so much light. But we slept great as it was nicely cool and dark.

Very central location. The property is an old colonial house, which is really beautiful and very well maintained. The food in the restaurant is just delicious and the staff extremely professional.

“Lovely and relaxed would recommend it.”
Comfy beds, lovely shower, staff were very helpful and friendly. Could sit in the restaurant and play cards in the evening having a drink. Breakfast was amazing.

“Hotel should provide ear plugs!”
Great location and beautiful gardens. When you walk in, you feel like you’re in paradise. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hot chocolate was delicious.

“My Favourite Hotel in San Cristobal!”
I love this hotel and I return to it every year. The location is perfect - so close to all the markets and the rooms are clean and elegant with beautiful clean-lined wooden furniture. The courtyard is lovely, the restaurant delicious and the staff, friendly. I look forward to coming back next year!
