Good location and helpful staff. We booked the Sumidero Canyon cruise with viewpoints through the hotel for 660 pesos, and it was a great trip.

“Gardin oasis in the middle of the city”

Everything at Rossco is great. It's in a great location, very close to shops, the markets and the old town. The staff are lovely and helpful and the room is very clean. We had a private king bed room with lots of space, a very comfortable bed and great shower with lots of pressure and hot water. The wifi works fantastically and there are lots of places to relax in the garden and escape the bustle of the city. Highly recommend if you're looking for something budget but quiet and comfortable.

Loved our room, we booked a double but I think we were upgraded to a family room which was very spacious on the upper floor, even had a balcony and hammock. MASSIVE comfy bed, decent wifi, very hot shower. Spacious kitchen with basic utensils, stovetop, microwave and water refills. Nice garden/courtyard space with a fountain and fire pit. Great location - short walk to the main square, supermarket and markets nearby, colectivo to San Juan Chamula. Very quiet at night. Friendly staff and an adorable cat and dog. Extended our stay because we liked it so much!

It's a beautiful hostel, it has a garden with a fish pond, a really cute cat and dog, everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were super nice: we had a great time and would definitely come back :)

The best of places. Location, staff, the facilities... All very professionally managed and organised.

Probably the best place price wise in San Cristobal, the staff is really friendly, there's a cool common area in the garden, with bonfires every night and a pool table.

We loved the energy of the space, lots of outdoor space with a lovely fire in the evenings. Friendly people and great comfy rooms that have just want you need. Cheap laundry service, relaxing staff, nice pool table. We were there with our little one who’s 7 years old, and he was super safe and comfortable in all communal areas at all times. We loved it here and would definitely come back!

The public area is spacious with a nice garden , kitchen you can make easy quick breakfast and a terrace for laundry place, the room is spacious, the shower water is hot and one of the most comfortable in the hostels I stays in Mexico within a month. Staffs are super hospitable and always willing to help. Location: Though 18-20 minutes walk from the Ado and colectivo bus station, but the place is within 10 minutes walk to the main cathedral and quite close to Maya weaver museum, local market and big super market in town, and a few minutes walk to the colectivo bus station to villages of Chamula and Zinacantán. Will definitely to come back if visiting San Cristobal again.

“Nice staff, nice place”

Large room with nice hot shower. Good location near the Santo Domingo Church. Everywhere was walkable. Appreciated the free water and access to a kitchen. Nice areas to sit outside. Lovely, helpful staff. Did a great job on my laundry - smelled lovely. Would have been good if they'd also folded it because it was quite creased.

Excellent value for money and very quiet location in a town with loud streets and busy traffic

The central courtyard/garden area was very nice and relaxing, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The facilities were kept pretty clean. The staff were also very kind. Cute hostel pets too!

Great spot and comfortable private room

Beautiful garden, very nice staff, comfortable beds. Can get a little cold in the nighttime. Very good value for the price. We came back and stayed again after visiting Palenque. :)
