This was the most beautiful place to stay, with attention to each detail of decoration in the very special family run hotel, no commercial stuff, all authentic and done with a lot of care. All the staff were super friendly and ready to help. We would love to stay here again.

Super beautiful decorated hotel in a very old Building in the middle of the city. The hosts were very helpful and offered us an Pox (local drink) upon arrival. Breakfast is also very good.

Such a lovely little hotel with its rustic charm. We were in the room with 3 beds and it was plenty big enough for 3 people although a little short on head space upstairs. The property was really central only a couple of streets away from the main walking street but was still really private. But what made it so lovely were the hotel owners, especially Mario who went out of his way to help. He was always around to make sure we had enough coffee and offered us some sweet wine and cooked bananas. We loved our stay here it has been one of the best places we have stayed.

What a wonderful oasis of calm. Beautifully and thoughtfully renovated with great attention to every detail. Kind and very hospitable staff. Nothing too much trouble. Wished we could have stayed longer. Comfortable rooms. Coffee/tea/filtered water/fruit/ sweet breads available all the time. Lovely breakfasts too

This hotel is stunning, it’s clear a lot of thought has been put in to making the setting relaxing and comfortable. All the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was good, especially after we endured a bout of food poisoning. Highly recommend to anyone that is staying in San Cristobal.

If I could give this place 11 stars out of 10 I would. So much character, charm and warmth. 150 year old historic building with vintage artefacts. Family run and the owner and his sons go out of their way to please and are so cute. Delicious breakfast. We stayed in more “exclusive” places around Mexico but this was our favourite. Great location too.
