Friendly and welcoming, I arrived late, no problem. Good breakfast and relaxed atmosphere. Watched the fire works from the roof at new year-amazing. Highly recommended.

This hostel has a huge potential, great structure. With a bit of work it could become a great place.

Really chilled and friendly vibe, with nice artistic touches around. Good common area to eat and hang out and lovely garden and roof top terrace for incredible views of the city. It is just by the Iglesia de Guadelupe which had best sunset views in the city. Also no more than 15 mins to walk to all central things /attractions. Also Luis (the owner) and his staff create such a friendly creative and inclusive place to be also sharing great knowledge of stuff going on in the city. We had great fun with everyone and will definitely be back

People who work there is very nice and I felt they really care for guests. It’s a good, cool location. Chilled atmosphere.

El Mirador is my home away from home in Chiapas. I am on the autism spectrum and they always give me exactly what I need to thrive. It’s more like a family to me than just a hostel. The staff, guests, the vibe, the weather, and, of course, Luisa, The Cat. :-)

The staff and volunteers are all super nice. The kitchen is well equipped and there's a lot of space in the hostel to relax. The price is very cheap all things considered. The breakfast was more than I was expecting honestly.

My stay in Hostel Mirador was great. I believe that the quality of hostels is built by people. I have met there amazing people, and it was mainly possible because they have breakfasts in great dining room. It's a perfect place to meet other people in the hostel. That's why I am giving 10/10.

Confortable bed and clean room. Friendly helpfull staff. Near the center but out the noise. Good vibes. Well equipped kitchen. Breakfast included.

It was great! The hostel has a good vibe. We stayed two weeks in Mirador. Almost every evening we cooked together and had a good meal with the other guests and the volunteers. Luis- the owner brought wine sometimes for our meals and have tips what to do in San Cristobal. We also went partying together and had a lot of fun. The volunteers prepare breakfast every morning- it was every day something different gut always really good and enough for everyone. It felt more like a commune than a normal hostelstay. I would come back to Mirador any time!

I love everything about this hostel. I've been there for one month. All the people that arrived there been amazing. It's feel like one big family.
