Overview
Just 200 metres from the Armentarola ski area, Hotel Gran Paradiso features sports and wellness facilities, a gourmet restaurant, and rooms with balcony. Managed by the Ploner family since 1968, it offers the warm hospitality typical of South Tyrol. The Gran Paradiso is built with natural materials, and rooms come with carpeted or wooden floors, a satellite LCD TV, and a private bathroom with bath or shower. Some rooms overlook the mountains. A generous buffet breakfast is served daily and includes fruit and cereals, bread, nutella and jams, cold cuts and cheese, hot and cold drinks, and eggs on request. For dinner you can savour specialities of Alta Badia and classic Italian cuisine. The terrace is equipped with tables and chairs, and you can relax in the garden with deckchairs and parasols. There is an indoor playroom for kids up to 8 years of age, a ping pong table, and cards. The spa and fitness centre is complete with Turkish bath, sauna, and indoor swimming pool, all available for free. Use of the hot tub, solarium, and massage rooms can be booked. Cycling tours can be booked at the property. This 3-floor building with garage and free outdoor parking is a 3-minute drive from the centre of San Cassiano. Brunico Train Station is about 25 km away. An airport shuttle can be booked.
