“Homely, comfy stay”

Super clean, beds made and rooms cleaned daily. Kitchen facilities were great and plenty of room for people to eat in ‘dining room’. Ernesto and the family are so friendly and helpful. We extended our stay to about 7 nights.

Ernesto's place is a fantastic option if you're visiting Bariloche. The bed was comfy and I slept great. The shower was hot! (Be careful the first time you set the shower. There is no shortage of hot.) The internet was very reliable and a fine speed. The room had a smart tv, a little table to work or eat at. Even the little soap was surprisingly nice feeling for hotel soap. Honestly. And Ernesto is a super nice person and a great host. He also speaks good English if you roll in and your brain is too tired to practice your Spanish. Takes about 10 mins to walk to the heart of town (downhill there, a bit of a hoof uphill back but i dont mind that.) Great stay overall.

The host was very nice and communication was easy. He was very helpful and easily reachable. The room was comfortable and homely.

“Comfortable stay in Bariloche”

Our private room was spacious and comfortable. There is also a small table with an electric kettle and some complimentary tea and coffee, which we appreciated a lot. The Wifi worked well from our room. The shared bathrooms are shared between two rooms only, so there shouldn't be many instances in which you'll have to wait to use them. It is also effectively a private bathroom if the other room is not occupied. There are enough hooks to hang your towel and clothes in the bathroom. The shared kitchen has almost everything you need to prepare simple meals. We could also use the basin in the laundry room to wash our clothes by hand, as well as to hang them in the yard to dry. The garden is lovely too: there were so many roses there! It was easy to coordinate with our host, Ernesto, regarding our arrival and departure. We also appreciated being allowed to stay in the common area (i.e. the dining room and reception) after checkout while waiting for our evening bus. The location is a bit away from the centre of Bariloche, but we found it quite easily walkable notwithstanding the uphill gradient when walking back to the property from the centre. There is a large supermarket (La Anonima) two and a half blocks away.

It is located in a quite place, still not too far from the city center. Ernesto is very kind and helpfull. He speaks English very well. Thanks to him we had nice time in Bariloche.

“Cosy hostel at a good price”

- good kitchen with lots of pots and pans - pretty garden - the bathrooms are only shared with one other room and are just by your room - quiet neighbourhood and supermarket within walking distance - hot water and good internet

We enjoyed our accommodation. Ernesto is a great host. Also very nice cafe close by: Cafe El Barco. We will definitely come back next time when in Bariloche :)

“Everything we needed!”

Ernesto was very helpful indeed and helped us with everything we needed, as well as letting us store our stuff whilst we went hiking. The room had everything we needed and though we didn't use it, there was a well equipped kitchen and dining room available.

“Great hostel, great host”

Very nice and lovely stay near Bariloche centre! Great value for money. We arrived late at night and the communication was easy with them and they were waiting for us when we arrived. The room we stayed had a kettle, tea and coffee. The bed is very comfortable and the place clean and nice. There is a shared kitchen and in street parking if needed. 10/10, would stay again :)

“Great place, fantastic hosts, perfect stay”

The communication with the property was amazing throughout. Leading up to our stay I asked many questions and Ernesto gave prompt and helpful responses. Upon our arrival we were offered a double room with private bathroom, after booking a twin room with private bathroom, for the same price. During our stay Ernesto was very helpful again. The place was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. The Wifi was great, Netflix worked perfectly which is an added bonus!

Very nice owner, clean and confortable hostel with a great kitchen including everything you need to cook. Our room had a shared bathroom but only with another room so it was really convenient. Everything is super clean, thanks to the ladies in charge of cleaning. Very quiet neighborhood, but still really close to the bus station to go everywhere around, the city center and the lake.
