The room was beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed the hospitality of staff. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Everything was super clean and of high quality. There was even a spa/wellness area in the basement, which was much bigger than I would have thought. Moreover, my wife and I had some laundry, including three shirts, to do and the hotel owners offered to wash everything and even iron the shirts free of charge. Our stay far exceeded our expectations!

“Dissapointing”

On the day of arrival - disappointment. A suite was reserved and paid for, but only an ordinary room was available. The receptionist said that the owner would come in the morning and apologize. I wrote a complaint to Booking saying that it is a very unsound business and that it should consider cooperating with such customers. I sent a copy to the hotel. In the morning, the owner did come, but instead of apologizing, he attacked me with accusations because of my complaint. Feeling threatened, he even called the police! I explained the incident, and the police asked for documents and questioned me. Just amazing! The owner threw EUR 4 on the counter, saying it was the price difference. Of course, I did not accept this, as it was pretty humiliating. The hotel is otherwise pleasant, and the simpatic receptionist was extremely friendly trying to find a better solution (no success, unfortunately), and apologizing for this unpleasant event.

The views and surrounding coun tryside were picture book perfect.

The breakfast was good with the flaws set forth below. All the food in the buffet was of the utmost quality. The managers were quite kind and affable. The room was quite quiet The only noise that one could hear was some door slams. The room maid was very kind and polite. The view from the room balconies is splendid.. During most of the the breakfast time there is no music in the restaurant. When there is, it's nearly imperceptible. One can thus have breakfast in a peaceful atmosphere.

Nice balcony view and clean spacious room. Receptionist was very nice and full-filled all of her many roles. Spa room was lovely.

“Minor improvements away from being a perfect place!”

Hotel Tolderhof is only couple improvements away from being a perfect place! - the staff is fantastic; authentically friendly and helpful. They pay attention to the guests, so far that they could remember some details we had discussed on the phone 2 weeks before. - the food is tasty and looks marvelous! It’s really standard of a good restaurant! - rooms are spacious and really well finished - it’s been super clean all over the place! - there is sauna and ski/boots drier room and a lift to all levels - there a really big bed in the room - the place is really close to the ski arena, what’s more they offer a transfer! - everyone speaks good German and English (Italian of course too)
