Overview
Boutique Hotel Eggele is a 4-star hotel that has been in the family for 150 years. Set in San Candido, it provides a free shuttle to the Mount Elmo ski area. Its 200 m² wellness centre has 2 floors of facilities. Each room features a balcony or terrace with a view of the Dolomites. They have a mix of classic and South Tyrol styles and all include an LCD TV with satellite channels. Breakfast is buffet style at Boutique Hotel Eggele. It includes sweet and savoury items such as cold meats, cheese and homemade cakes. The restaurant is open for dinner and serves South Tyrol specialties. It also hosts candlelit dinners and themed evenings. Here you will also find a swimming pool and herb garden. The wellness centre includes a Finnish sauna and Turkish bath. Other facilities are a Kneipp hydrotherapy and a reading room with open fireplace. An outdoor natural swimming pond is also featured. The hotel rents bikes and ski equipment. It has its own ski school and ski pass desk. It is part of the Dolomiti Superski area. There is also a fitness room with technogym equipment, a free ski shuttle to the 3 Zinnen ski area in winter, and guided hikes are available from Mondays to Fridays in summer.

The accommodation was absolutely fantastic. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and made us feel truly at home. The extra programs were excellent, and the food was simply outstanding — every evening we enjoyed a four- to six-course dinner with amazing flavors. The wellness area was beautiful, clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt extremely well taken care of. We truly enjoyed every moment.

“The perfect retreat in a lovely family run hotel”
A wonderful family run hotel where they make you feel like one of the family when you stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable rooms. The natural pool with the cows in the background was wonderful and a great spa. Close enough to the larger towns but also far enough away to feel like a peaceful retreat.

“Lovely stay in the Dolomites”
Very nice family-run hotel. Beautifully renovated historic place, nice natural pond outside, rooms were big and internet connection was good, also hotel staff/owners provided great hiking tips and were very friendly, both dinner and breakfast were great.

In short everything was wonderful. The breakfast, the dinners we also had were tasty and well prepared. Evelyn and her family and staff were charming and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were roomy with lovely views. This hotel was a highlight of our 5 week long travels in Italy. We would love to return.

“Wonderful stay and wonderful owners”
The owners of the hotel are the nicest people and they try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed. It is very close to the bus station that you can take to go skiing and it is just 5 minutes drive to the slopes.

Cleanliness, excellent room service, friendly hotel staff, calm location, interior of rooms and amenities renovated and in excellent condition, right next to ski bus stop with few minutes ride to Monte Elmo/Helm ski resort and San Candido town, sunny location with nice view, pleasant cuisine, family hotel atmosphere with individual approach.
