Overview
Set on the seafront in San Benedetto del Tronto, Hotel Progresso is an impressive Art Nouveau building built in 1923. It offers a private beach and a restaurant specialising in fresh seafood. Rooms have classic decor and include free Wi-Fi, a kettle and a TV. The en suite bathroom has free toiletries. Some rooms have sea views. A continental buffet breakfast is served each morning and includes homemade and organic items. The restaurant is open during summer and holiday times. Choose the half or full-board option and you will also have 2 deckchairs and a parasol on the beach. The Progresso Hotel has won awards for its eco-friendly practices. It includes peaceful gardens, a shared kitchen and a separate kitchen area where parents can prepare food for infants. San Benedetto del Tronto Train Station 1 km away. Parking is available nearby and is free for most of the year, excluding June, July and August.

“Fabulous”
I loved the character of the hotel, my room was lovely with a fabulous terrace & the shower was fab! The staff were amazing, so courteous and helpful. Particular mention to the lady who was on the reception in the evening, she was so nice and knew instinctively that it was whit wine 😊

“A delightful hotel in a charming seaside town”
There was much to like but I particularly appreciated the care that was shown for my dog who received her own little welcome pack. Otherwise, the location was perfect, opposite the beach. Breakfast catered for all tastes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. And we were each given delightful posters on our departure - which will definitely be framed and hung on my wall!

“Charming hotel, close to beach, very clean but a bit outdated and not really 4stars level”
Location is opposite of beach and quite close to city center and train station The ladies from reception were very helpful and gave us lots of information

“An hotel to come back too!”
Nice hotel with character across the beach. Walking distance from restaurants and nice city center. Rooms with high ceilings, excellent bed and very clean. Breakfast was satisfactory. Staff very friendly. Only thing I missed was a little more atmosphere in the closed veranda facing the road/beach. Would be nice and inviting to sit if decorated with plants,flowers and paintings/posters on walls. But is definitely a place to come back to!
