“Nice”

Location

It is very special that there is a hotel at 3750m altitude at a remote location. This may have to be taken into account. We booked it for the experience, because we wanted to take the tren the las Nubes (Which was handy) and because it is situated on NR40 between the Salinas Grandes and Cachi (the NR40 is actually in a bad condition, better drive via Salta). The rooms are specious and the beds are good. The hotel (and San Antonio) has little ambiance but the people are friendly. We had 2 good local meals in the restaurant (we sleept there 2 nights)

“Best choice at San Antonio de Los Cobres!”

San Antonio de Los Cobres is not a pretty place to visit, but our stay at Hotel de Las Nubles was great. We arrived exausted and it was so nice to find a clean, heated and comfortable room waiting for us. The shower was very good, the hotel has a good Restaurant so we did'nt have to go out again and everything was great. Next morning, breakfast was simple, but also very nice. I only have to thank the staff and say that Hotel de Las Nubes was the best choice that I could have made to stay at San Antonio de Los Cobres.

“Good enough for one night, but don’t expect any luxury”

The fact that it is close to the location from where the Tren de las Nubes leaves. Service was good even though quality of what was served was basic. Then again, maybe the best you can get if you want to stay over in San Antonio de Los Cobres.

Perfectly acceptable gor iur needs, clean and comfortable. My only gripe would be directed at other guests and the noise they made entering and leaving rooms... banging doors and loud talking in common hallway.

This was a perfect, very reasonably priced place to stay before getting la tren a las nubes, which was spectacular. It's spacious, comfortable and the food is excellent, I had delicious llama stew

We stayed for one Night to take the Tren a las Nubes. Everything was good. Room clean, cozy and quiet. The staff was incredible friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good - a lot of choices and very tasty coffee. We wäre very happy about our decision to sleep in the village and take the Train on the next day - much more better than come Salta early und the Morning. We definitly Recommend this Hotel.
