“Exceptional Country Getaway”

The location was perfect, in the center of town and made it the ideal location for exploring San Antonio de Areco. Both Hector and Gabriella were wonderful and hospitable hosts. Breakfast was lovely. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would happily stay at the Posada de Don Segundo on a return trip. Hector communicated directions well in advance via Whatsapp making our arrival and check in process very smooth.

The room was in a separate building in the garden, which made it nice and private. It was peaceful and guests were invited to chill out in the garden or help themselves to the hot drinks on the patio area. The property was in very close distance to the main Plaza and the river, which was perfect for being able to access the activities taking place for the weekend’s festivities (the gaucho festival). It was also close to a large number of restaurants. The host was very kind and gave plenty of advice on what to see and do in the area, and helped with my travel plans also, which was much appreciated.

Hector is a great host, very attentive and sent helpful information before our trip. The garden is beautiful with flowers and birds. A small fix of our shower head was also done instantly!

The breakfast was fantastic, a continental breakfast with Medialunas, toast, jam, etc. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and I will certainly be returning.

Hector is an amazing host. His house is great with a beautiful garden and the location is perfect. Bedrooms are very clean. But the experience was all about meeting Hector. He is very friendly and welcoming. After spending the first evening sharing a meal and few drinks with him, discussing among other things the art of barbecue, he offered to organize a traditional Asado with his friends if we could come back. We managed to come back 2 weeks later and had a great experience sharing this day with Hector and his friends. We will definitely come back. I hope every traveller to San Antonio de Areco is lucky enough to cross Hector's path! and by the way, Hector is also a paraglider instructor if you want to add another activity to your trip to San Antonio!

Spacious, traditional home. Own privacy. Super helpful and friendly hosts (including going above and beyond to find me a horse riding opportunity in 24h!). Great breakfast and patio. Clean. Conveniently located. Was literally everything perfect!
