Just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Vathy Town in Samos, Hotel Anthousa is 1 km from Gogou Beach and features a snack bar. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and furnished balcony. “Good hotel a bit far out of town”
This is a quiet clean modern hotel. It isn’t suitable for people with mobility concerns as it has stairs and is a long uphill walk from the port and town, which is inconvenient for dining especially in hot weather.

Mr. Tassos and Mrs. Cigdem are very nice. They have been always helpful with suggestions for our trip in the island. The hotel was very nice and quite, it is in a strategic position and the room had everything we needed. Thanks Mrs. Cigdem for the nice breakfast!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Tassos and his wife are great hosts, very hospitable, welcoming, gave us great recommendations and helped us with anything we needed. The location is great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Would highly recommended.

Breakfast exceeded expectations for a 2* hotel. Homemade omelette and good juice, selection of dried fruits. Quiet location, beaches nearby. The room was recently renovated. Good new mattress.

Hotel Anthousa is located in a perfect location and very close to the port. The owner Tassos is such a neat and humble person as you can immediately feel it as soon as you arrive. It's very clean, rooms are nicely designed, beds are so comfortable, cute bathroom, fantastic breakfast. Tassos helps anything you need and if you want to feel a real Samos experience, you don't need to look for other options. Home feeling, relaxed neighborhood, quietness but only 10 minutes walk to the center, beautiful Samos view, bicycle friendly environment... Additionally, very special thanks to Tassos for being so kind, nice and friendly to us. We felt it for real.

“Service with a heart warming smile”
The property is welcoming and very easy accessible. There isn’t a thing a traveler requires as the management has provided for all. Fabulous views at your fingertips. Of course it is wonderful when the host is amazingly helpful and happy. Filled with knowledge of the island for whatever adventure you are looking for! And his hospitality can’t be beaten, service with a smile from the heart. Casper the Dog is a wonderful addition. Such a character himself! Definitely recommend a stay here

“It is not a resort hotel with lots of facilities, but it is excellent value as a place to stay.”
The room is modern, clean, comfortable and quiet - that's all that we ask for. Not every room has a view, but our room did have a nice view of the water and the hills and a balcony. Friendly proprietor.

We were welcomed into the hotel by Tasos and his family. We felt as if we were part of the family due to their friendliness and willingness to help us navigate the island, letting us know where to go for our day trips and the best eateries. The family were Greek Australians so for two Australian guests it was very welcoming.
