Second time staying in casa Outeiro while walking the Camino. Great communication with the host. Very clean and spacious rooms. Clean as usual and it was very nice to stay in the village above the hill.

We loved our stay at Casas de Outeiro. The location was perfect as it was right on the Camino and close to the monastery. It was very clean, warm and comfortable with peaceful rural views. The man who checked us in was very friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and there was a small supermarket close by. Comfortable bed and good shower. A perfect peaceful night on the Camino. We would definitely stay again.

What is not to like? The place is a gem. The only sound is birdsong. Our one bedroom apartment was beautiful, tastefully restored old property, which maintains its original feature but incorporates all modern needs. The little village below has a couple of shops and bars to meet those need. And the monastery is quite the site. The path leading below is part of the Camino peregrino and the walkers amble by in jovial chat. I would come back here in a heartbeat. If you are looking to reset your life button and disconnect or not from the world. This journey awaits.
