Christian was just a really wonderful manager and made me feel at home. It is a hotel that I shall recommend to my Indian friends. The location, the cleanliness, the location, the sunlight light into the room, the history behind the hotel ( it was an ancient pharmacy) all lend to my appreciation of Casa da Botica.

This place was exceptional! I arrived a little after 1pm and told check-in wasn’t until 2pm but was graciously provided with my room key all the same. I then checked in at 2pm. After a long walk that day this was greatly appreciated! Then, upon leaving, I’d pre-paid for breakfast but found myself having to rush off. Again, I was graciously given a selection to take with me. Such wonderful customer service which is greatly appreciated! And the room was amazing, modern, spacious. And I both washed and dried my clothes. Perfect. An amazing stay!

Fantastic hotel. Cristian the owner is just the best Did everything to make our stay great. We stayed there 2 days before our Camino and 2 days after. We highly recommend to stay there. Samos is a little friendly village.🥰

On the Camino, this is a lovely place to stay. Our room had a fantastic view of the monastery. The room and ensuite were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There is plenty of outdoor space to relax by the river for some quiet time. Our host Cristian recommended the tour of the nearby monastery which was well worth a visit. Breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic hotel. We loved it here. We stayed for 2 nights 🌙 before our camino Rubén is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the rooms was really good and big. We will stay there again after the camino. ❤️❤️❤️We love Samos...quite and good restaurants there.

Out of 30 bookings completing Camino Frances, this was the jewel in the crown. Facilities first rate, also has laundry machines you can pay to use. Most helpful doing the Camino. The host was first class. Knowledgeable, hospitable and a good person. Over looking the convent it is spectacular. They also have a range of wines from around the world you can purchase, excellent and we will go back.

Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. The hospitalero, Christian, is always on hand to help. Love the garden area beside the river to reflect and rest. Property looks over the river at the stately Samos Monastery.
