“Comfortable, clean hotel with great views.”

Unlike many hotels in the location, Edelweiss could accommodate me as a single traveller for one night only. My rooms was clean and the view from the window was superb!

The room was clean and the size was what you would expect for a two star rating.The view from our room was superb! Therefore, there were no extras like a hairdryer or tea/coffee making facilities.There was a restaurant and bar but we didn't eat there although it has a very good reputation locally.We did have a few drinks from the bar and the staff were wonderful.

The hotel was comfortable and a good location if you don’t mind a walk down and up the hill if you have a car perfect the village is close by and the ski bus service to the cable car is very good and free, we had dinner in the restaurant at the hotel and the food and service was excellent, and thanks to the hosts for there hospitality.

Breakfast nice- lovely fresh croissant, variety of jams, baguette, fruit juice coffee, tea, hot choc, home made cake, cheese, charcuterie small bowl of fruit, individual plain yoghurt pot. All very good quality but really too expensive for a family of 5. We opted, after day one, to head early down into town and stop at Tiffanie boulangerie that has a comfortable indoor and outdoor cafe where we could sit and have tea or tissane from a pot and an offer to refill hot water, coffee, hot choc, cold drinks, pastries, breads for far less expense. Really the cost of the breakfast at Edelweiss is the only thing that let it down. Also breakfast didn't start before 8a.m.

Partly renovated, clean, well maintained. Rooms are not big but there's just enough space. Great view :) Very good restaurant and breakfast!!

The hotel sits above the village and offers great views across the valley. It's nice to be away from the noise and bustle of Samoëns whilst being only half a mile from all the facilities. The room was basic but comfortable with a great view from the veranda. The breakfast was simple but good quality and the pizzas are superb. We really enjoyed our stay.

Convenient to visit friends and good views over town

Lovely atmospheric hotel, perfect location. Very comfortable and clean. Only negative was the very thin walls of the hotel room - we were kept awake a lot in the night.
