Overview
Peacefully located on a hill above the centre of Samnaun, Hotel Garni Aurora offers panoramic views of the whole Samnaun Valley. It offers a small spa (open only in winter) and a free shuttle to the ski slopes. Free Wi-Fi is available. The comfortable rooms at Aurora all feature a balcony. They are decorated with vibrant fabrics and feature light wooden furniture and floors. Amenities include a flat-screen satellite TV and a work desk. Hotel’s public areas are decorated in a similar light and airy Alpine style as are the rooms, and include a winter garden and a breakfast room. Ski storage room is also available, as is the private covered parking. Aurora's spa offers a sauna, a steam bath and a sanarium. A room for relaxation is also available. Ski slopes of the Samnaun-Ischgl Ski Area can be reached within a 2-minute drive, as can be the cross-country trails. In summer the area offers numerous possibilities for hiking and biking. Access to the public pool, and cable car rides are included in the room rates in summer season.

We had a wonderful stay thanks to the incredible owners, a lovely couple who went above and beyond at every turn — from answering questions to kindly driving us to the ski lift each day. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and wonderfully peaceful, perfect for resting after a long day on the slopes. The location was ideal, with a bus stop just a 3-minute walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our ski holiday and would highly recommend it!

We loved the view and we loved our stay! The owner was incredibly attentive and recommended the whole itinerary for a trip by car (we did it yesterday and it was wonderful). The quest cards for the cable car (which is just down the street from the hotel) were included, so we spent a good half of the day enjoying those, great experience!

The owner is very nice. He even prepared breakfast at 7: 00am earlier than normal time 7: 30 am because I want to leave earlier. They clean the room every day and provide free transportation from and to ski place, also drop off and pick up us in the rent shop.
