Enjoyed my stay here a lot. Booked for three nights, ended up staying two weeks. Cozy basic rooms with lovely wooden balconies. Feels like you're staying in the forest. Friendly staff, well equipped kitchen and all shops and restaurants needed nearby. Five minutes walk to the beach.

“Amazing place in Samara”

Amazing place, had a single room! Could not get anything better!

Overall fantastic place to stay at. It’s very clean, staff is exceptionally friendly and the location itself is stunning. Most relaxing place I’ve been to in Costa Rica!

“Don't rent here unless you are deaf~”

Clean room, very comfortable bed, washroom was exceptional. Up to date decor, but Needs a TV. Needs a chair so one can sit at the desk to do whatever. Need to put heat in the swimming pool, it was way too cold. My room was by the main road... the traffic is 24/7, too loud for anyone...even with earplugs... you should put in a sound barrier wall... or don't rent that room or any rooms that rest on the edge of road. I won't go back to this place. I won't recommend it either!!!

“Lovely Oasis in Samara.”

Lovely hostel with many choices for accommodations. The pool area was beautiful with lots of lush vegetation - very private and quiet center core. The shared kitchen was well equipped and had a bonus toaster! (hard to find in CR) We had a howler monkey family come to visit. Staff were friendly and kept everything very neat and clean. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, the beach, the Saturday morning market and we really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Great value for money. Book in advance - booked up while we were there but never would have known it as there are so many areas to relax in.

Perfect location. A short walk to the beach and excellent restaurants. Very clean. Lovely staff. Great refreshing pool.

“Great location”

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool is small but deep, it was great to shower and get in the cool water. My room had a great outdoor space with a hammock. The kitchen was well equipped.

“Absolute Gem!”

Great vibe and friendly staff. Well stocked outdoor kitchen. Great location with a short walk to the beach. Refreshing pool, yoga space and outdoor kitchen facilitated opportunities for guests to get to know each other. Nice sense of community here. We loved everything about this place and plan to return in the future.

“Love the quirkiness of this little gem.”

Communal kitchen a great asset. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and kind. Location makes it easy to walk into city centre and the beach.

“Nest in the rain forest”

The location was excellent. 4 minutes walk to the beach, same for downtown restaurant. One of the best was around the corner. The staff was extremelly helpful. If you miss anything, just ask them. Hairdryer, ants spray, extra towels, dish detergent. The studio was nicely appointef and ristically decorated.

“TAL is a nice, budget friendly place to stay but not good if you are working due to wifi.”

Our room was what we expected and all that we needed. Our room was very small but it was a great place to sleep, wake up and get ready for the day and then head out until we came home in the evening. Many compliments to "Nancy" as she was an extremely nice person and very helpful with any of our questions or concerns.

“Paradise”

The kitchen was fab, with everything we needed. Pool was nice to refresh and room was perfect size.

The soothing and jungle like atmosphere, the big outside shared kitchen, the cold pool for those hot days. All can be done by foot. That's one of the coolest places I have slept in.

Very cosy place, nice jungle feel to it

Reception was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The location is very convenient: close to the beach and restaurants. The hotel is on a main road but we weren't disturbed at all by car noise in our room.

Absolutely fantastic hotel; in the middle of Samara, but made in such a way it seems very private. Beautiful garden with a small pool, very clean and well equiped kitchen em a super relaxed atmosphere (except for the howler monkeys who start howling in the morning haha). For yoga enthousiasts, they also have a 'yoga studio' (platform where you can find mats etc).

Private balcony was excellent, communal kitchen area was very clean and really useful and handy. We loved the coffee available from 6am. Perfect for spotting wildlife within the hotel boundaries. Excellent proximity to Samara main area and beach.

“Both good and bad at this place”

I liked the outdoor space. The plants and trees were very lush and it was nice walking around the grounds. The shared outdoor kitchen was very nice. I liked that they had a pool, there were 2 fans in the room, and that i could walk to everything from the hotel. The wifi was good.
