The property and pool garden, the bed was the best we had during our stay in Costa Rica. Lovely eco toiletries and yoga every morning. My daughter did a Reiki session with host and found Frederic very knowledgeable. The location was perfect too. Would highly recommend 🙏🏽

Clean and amazingly quiet- We particularly appreciated the pool in the magic garden, the complementary yoga classes in the morning and the handmade fresh breakfasts everyday. Federica and Roberto are the perfect hosts, they welcomed us with a much needed early check-in and they dedicated great attention to every single detail. Ask Luca, their son, for a surf class, it will be the best way to complete your stay in Samara.

“Lovely flat close to the beach with swimming pool and yoga shala”

Our flat was really nice, with plenty of space and tastefully decorated. Nice to have both ceiling fans (also in the patio outside) and AC. Nicely working Wi-Fi. Tasty breakfast served on the private patio made of fruit and homemade cookies, porridge or yoghurt. Taking the included yoga class every morning at 7 in the beautiful yoga shala in the garden was the cherry on top. It was just a 5 minutes walk to the beach and the structure is located centrally and close to many supermarkets, restaurants and shops.

Everything! The accommodation was superb, clean, spacious and relaxing. Frederika and her husband were great hosts. The pool was lovely, breakfast was delivered and for once it wasn’t rice n beans! ( which of course is nice but fruit, cereal, yogurt and home made cake was a refreshing change) . We attended the yoga class 2 mornings out of 3 which we enjoyed. We cooked 2 nights at home and the kitchen was so well equipped, big fridge freezer too. We saw a family of howlers in the treetops from our window.. fabulous. The town was vibrant, plenty to do and many supermarkets. 3 beaches locally… all tranquil. You must visit!

The location is excellent and the facilities are relaxing and first class. The early morning Yoga class with Frederica was a lovely way to start the day. Followed by a lovely healthy breakfast to set us up for the days activities. The secure off street parking is a great bonus. Once we arrived we walked every where as the location is very central. The shops, the beach and surrounding activities. In summary a very comfortable stay with a relaxing yoga feel.

Yoga included every morning with Fredrica and a wonderfully healthy breakfast delivered to our apartment by Roberto. A lovely natural setting that created a feeling of peace and harmony and displayed the Pura Vida of Sámara. What a wonderful experience!

Inner light lodge is an oasis of peace, serenity and harmony located in a central position, very close to the beach and the various restaurants. We loved the silence, the spaciousness of the rooms equipped with all comforts, the veranda where a rich breakfast prepared by the hosts with cake and fruit was served. Last but not least, the possibility of a yoga class in the morning which Federica leads with professionalism and care. Highly recommended

“Best place to stay in Samara if you are looking for a peaceful and safe location close to the beach”

This place is like an island of peace, harmony and quietness. We found an ideal place for our vacation that makes us want to return there again and stay longer. It is not only about vacation but also about taking a break from routine life and stress. Before coming there I read some reviews saying that you can hear some noise from the busy street but we did not hear that much noise at all. Personally I think for such a great location so close to the beach and all the shops, supermarkets and restaurants, it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. And even after a pouring rain you can walk to the stores and food places, while other locations along the coast tend to get flooded. We loved our private patio with armchairs and hammock, yoga in the morning and delicious and very filling homemade breakfast. Federica makes her own healthy granola, fantastic yogurt, oatmeal and cakes. She finds the best fruit in town. The pineapple and papaya for breakfast were the best that I have ever tried. I have never done yoga before but I enjoyed it and the music so much. She teaches it in a way that you will love it, no matter whether you are a beginner or advanced. The interior of the apartment makes you feel like home. Every detail is well-thought and designed with care, meaning and style. You have everything you need to cook, including blender, instant pot, coffee maker and toaster. I even asked for a juicer and Federica kindly provided us with one! We also felt very safe being there. Everything is super clean including the pool. Whenever you have any questions, Federica is always there to help. And check out the market on Saturday if you have a chance - it has a fabulous atmosphere, great vendors, food and fruit and vegetables.

You feel like coming home in the inner light yoga lodge, with very useful and thoughtful touches. you have everything you need in the house and the lodge.every day yoga in the morning with federica was also amazing!

Federica and Roberto were very welcoming and generous. They offer beautifully designed guest suites, provide delicious and healthy breakfasts on the private terraces, and keep the rooms and pool impeccably clean. But, even more than that, their sincere interest in giving their clients a peaceful and rich holiday experience in Samara is clearly evident. Federica offers a daily yoga class that is designed to ease guests into each day and is accessible to all skill levels. She and Roberto are both kind and engaging, and also respect their guests’ privacy. Their property, from the yoga terrace, to the lush gardens, to the refreshingly cool pool, is a serene and beautiful oasis in the middle of town.

We stayed 6 nights (we had originally booked 4 nights and ended up staying 6 nights as we did not want to leave and there was a last minute cancellation that allowed us to stay 2 extra nights). We would have stayed longer if we hadn’t planned other destinations on our trip. This is such and amazing place, a true hidden gem with such lovely hosts Federica and Roberto (and their children) who made us feel at home. Yoga every morning with Federica was a blessing and the best way to start the day calm and energized. Federica has been teaching yoga for 25 years and she is AMAZING. I had never experienced this yoga practice (Odaka yoga inspired by the movement of the ocean). The breakfast carefully prepared by Roberto was delicious and healthy! The appartement was so clean, peaceful and well decorated to bring calmness. Well equipped to cook some nights and eat out on our private terrasse. The bed was super comfortable and we slept so well! Very nice pool area and very private as there are not too many guests staying at the lodge at once. I took a Reiki session with Federica and I felt so calm and grounded after. The location is perfect with everything within walking distance (beach, farmers market on Saturdays, supermarkets, restaurants, etc). Federica recommended some great places and restaurant to visit and Barigona beach was one of our favorite place we discovered. We highly recommend staying at the the Yoga Innerguidinglight lodge and can’t wait to return and stay once more with Federica and Roberto. Thank you for everything! We will be missing you! “Außergewöhnlich”

The owner lives on the groundfloor, she was realy friendly and help us a lot. She is a Yoga teacher and we had a very nice Yoga session every morning.
