Bernard and Veronique were the most kind and committed hosts, even asking us which breakfsst we would like to have cooked on our last day, offering us tips on where to go, helping us with minor issues and generally being concerned about whether we were enjoying our stay in the region. Would 100% recommend.

I highly recommend this property. The views are amazing. Close enough to town for beach and restaurants, yet far enough away for peace and quiet. If you do not have 4x4 vehicle you may not like the drive up the mountain. Nathan was a pleasure to meet and he shared great information about this area of Costa Rica. Wifi was not always available but I guess that goes with the territory. Absolutely nothing bad about this property. Thanks for a great stay :)

“There is nothing we missed! Just a perfect spot, with a great host!!!”
The stay was fantastic! Everything was just perfect. Even though getting there is a bit of an adventure the first time, it's definitely worth it! The view is incredible. Nathan and his family are fantastic hosts, the breakfast is delicious, and the apartments are very well maintained! We love it and will definitely visit you again one day!

“Accommodation where you can feel at home”
This accommodation is simply amazing. Forget all the beach hotels, switch on four-wheel drive mode, and head off to this fantastic accommodation. In our personal ranking of accommodations, compiled over many years, Las Estrellas de Samara will probably occupy one of the top spots. We fully agree with all the positive comments made by other guests. We will definitely be back.

“Great hosts and views”
Nathan and his family are the best hosts we have had the opportunity to meet on our trip to Costa Rica! This accommodation is really worth it - amazing breakfast, equipped kitchen, coffee available all day. Nice pool and even better views. Their commitment is great and they did everything they could to make us enjoy our stay. 15 minutes to amazing beaches. We prefer Carrillo beach but others were also very nice.

Breakfast was very good, especially changed every day. The owners even offered special tea for my wife who had digestion problems. Very supportive owners. They were always helpful and e.g. showed us the place where we could watch Howler Monkeys.

We loved our stay at las Estrellas!!! Great amazing views from our room. Beautiful sunset. Nice pool. Great deck with a nice breeze. Nathan is an excellent host and great cook! Breakfast was a lovely surprise everymorning. For sure we will come back when visiting Samara! Blessings to you and your lovely family✨🌸☀️👏 4-wheel drive is important because it is steep uphill and rocky/sandy

“Gorgeous views - a real place to relax”
Nathan was such a fantastic host - helping us in several ways (directions/dinner/breakfast/advice). The view from our room was just amazing. Breakfast was delicious too. This was the perfect place to enjoy our time Costa Rica - only wish we could have stayed longer! Best to have a 4x4 to get there.
