“It was prefect for me”

The room was really clean, had a very zen feel to it. There was a microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee facilities. No tea provided though but I had my own as i don't drink coffee The room was cleaned everyday. The staff were really nice and helpful. I had the company of 3 iguanas every day whilst I relaxed by the pool. I arrived later than planned but I was sent a video and instructions on how to let myself in. That was really helpful and considerate. The location was perfect. 2 minutes from the bus stop and a 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Super friendly and helpful staff; convenient location just steps from the main street with its cafés (Elviaje | Coffee VW Bus was my favorite!), shops, and restaurants; huge, comfortable bed; secure parking; and excellent value for money. I also loved the beautiful outdoor seating area. A particularly nice touch was the complimentary ground coffee - not only for drinking, but also for the wonderful aroma throughout the space, which I found absolutely delightful.

“Big recommendation”

We had a deluxe room with a view of the garden and pool, and it was simply brilliant! The room and bathroom were very spacious, equipped with a microwave and fridge, plenty of space for clothes and lots of storage, plus an outdoor terrace at the front. From the breakfast room, which overlooked Samara and the sea, you could also spot monkeys, chipmunks and various birds in the trees. All in all, a beautiful, compact and very well-maintained complex where you feel as though you’re surrounded by nature and where howler monkeys, chipmunks and iguanas pay you a visit by the pool. All in all, a big compliment to the owners Michaela and Manfred – we had a lovely week in your hotel, thanks a lot!

“A very nice place for your stay in Samara”

A very pleasant accommodation with extremely service-minded staff. It truly feels like you’re staying in a jungle, surrounded by monkeys, squirrels, iguanas, and hummingbirds. Cozy and peaceful pool area. There were chairs and umbrellas available to borrow for outings. About a 10-minute walk at a leisurely pace to the beautiful beach.

Lovely clean pool and gardens

I highly recommend this hotel. It's clean, comfortable, an easy walk to restaurants and the beach and the owners are warm, welcoming and happy to assist. The breakfasts are also fantastic.

Hotel Belvedere in Playa Samara was maybe the best accomodation during all the trip in Costa Rica: the structure, perfectly run by Manfred and his son, surprised us with its lavish garden, the beauty of the room, the comfortable parking. We visited Samara in super low season but the weather was divine.

Beautiful and peaceful complex. We booked a room with breakfast, which was truly delicious and extensive.

Our room was one the ground floor directly to the pool. The pool is nice for an evening dip. The room is very comfy and you can make coffee. The garden is beautiful landscaped and you can understand the touch of a strong private ownership. Our small issues in the room were quickly solved.
