Matilori is a little pearl right in the middle of Samara. The entrance made beautiful by the legendary Oscar, welcomes you into a little bubble of good and relaxed vibes and a long table where you’re likely to meet some nice people to share a meal and good conversations with. The two kitchens are spacious and perfect for cooking. The rooms are nice, and the staff is just great people! I especially loved the hanging bed outside, and the decorations that makes the place feel homy!

This was a very easy going, friendly hostel right near the heart of the town without being on a busy street. Private room as reasonable price and some of the best food options such as Bohemia Cafe are a stones throw away.

Probably one of the best hostels for quite some time. The place very much felt like community living and sharing more than a hostel. We met very nice people from all ages and backgrounds, everyone gathers around the garden table and share stories...really fabulous! Kitchen is fully fitted and very clean, the double room we had was ok though in the main passageway, so ask for the ones upstairs if you can..they are also a lot more spacious. Immaculate bathrooms and communal areas. A real gem. What makes this a success is the atmosphere there, the great location minutes from everything and the general comfort and value for money.

“Great stay, great vibe - at a beautiful beach”

I had a really nice and comfortable stay at Matilori Hostel. I was welcomed very warmly by the host and immediately felt comfortable and homely. The house and garden where clean throughout the time and everything you needed for a comfortable stay was available at all times. The hostel cat is a huge plus also, so so cute and calms you down. Beach is just a few meters aways, so the house is perfectly located as I find. I would highly recommend this accommodation if you want to visit Sámara.

The vibe of the hostel is fantastic - one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Not a party hostel, just fun, social, and inclusive. The staff is a big reason for the vibe, they are the perfect team to be working here. Good location on a mostly quiet street, and only a 5 minute walk to the center of town or to the beach.

a large shady gathering area under 2 large mango trees with friendly people to chat with. located on a quiet sidestreet and people are quiet so no issue with noise. staff was helpful and rooms were clean.
