“A pleasant stay for one night in a friendly and welcoming home.”
Marisol and her family were lovely. The kitchen facilities were good and the hostel is about a 15 minute walk to the town centre and beach. The room had air conditioning and the bed was comfortable.

Marisol and her family are really kind people. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the pool and the a/c at our room because it’s really hot at Samara. It’s clean and very cute in this hostel! Big recommendation

“Family from Canada”
Staff was friendly they always seemed to be sweeping and cleaning. Pool was refreshing and cleaned daily. It was a fun environment for my family. Kids had fun playing together with the local kids there and playing with the puppies. Marisol was kind and helped us feel welcome and was a great house mom. This was the first hostel my family stayed ages 8,13 and 14 at and apon arrival they all wanted to leave before unpacking but after 4 nights they didn't want to leave! Was not fancy at all and could use some TLC here and there but it's all you really need beds were comfy. We all got hugs and kisses when we left and only have fond memories of our stay in a hostel. The hostel is about a 10 min walk into town.

A bit too expensive for what you get. But the rooms are neat and clean. The place is a little too small to host so many people. The host is nice though.

“We were super grateful to find Marisol. We were very sad to leave there and Samara.”
Location was prefect, close enough for our family of five to walk to the beach and the shops but far enough away for quiet. Staff, were friendly and very professional.

A very special place. A hostel but also the private house of whoever. Many people from near and far, chickens, a very clean pool and no rest. Life in the middle of Costa Rica. Making breakfast in normal Costa Rica life. Marisol , thank you for the stay. I would not miss this stay, but I was also glad when we left again.
