Location was perfect, only short drive to beach and restaurant. Swimming pool was wonderful for a swim and not too deep for children. Was able to also use the washing machine which was a really nice bonus. Would highly recommend this place to others.

“Beautiful and quiet place outside of Sámara”

The place is so beautiful and the nature surrounding it is amazing! It is a bit outside of Sámara which was nice to have a calm and peaceful stay. They are taking care of the environment around and you can have fresh fruit for breakfast. The hut is tiny but equipped with everything you need throughout your stay. We were received a heartwarming welcome and got all the information we needed.

Th Rhoda was exceptional, friendly and helpful. Th r lodge was comfortable and very well equipped. We loved our stay. The kids loved the pool and we sat the local monkey family. Nothing to fault here 😀

Everything was perfect, the host, Xavier was really kind and fully available. The place was great, clean and perfect for a family escape. The pool, the fruit's ree (lemon, grapefruit, etc), the location, 5 min from Samra and Carillo beach, make this place a unavoidable. I'll recommend for sure to anyone, it worth the price (not too expensive, we were the mid November).

The owner, Xavier, is very friendly and happy to show you around the place and what he is doing with the trees. Comfy bed, very relaxing place away from Sámara in nature. Has all the facilities you need. We only stayed one night.

Nice calm place surrounded by nature. Very friendly host. The wooden houses are very clean and offer all comfort. We had the nice little pool mostly for ourselves. Good starting point for day trips e.g. to Samara Beach or Watefalls in the Nicoja backcountry. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Xavi the host gave us such a warm welcome to his beautiful spot. A well equipped gorgeous cabin surrounded by a beautiful garden with a pool and laundry. Xavi was very helpful and showed our children the local monkeys. Best bit is that the profits go to the tree charity.

The hut is owned by a person of European descent which may be the reason why the usual drawbacks of accommodations in Costa Rica were absent here: There were no loose water taps, non-functional power outlets or the like; everything was well maintained and selected with a great love for details. The hut is best equipped, cozy and in the middle of the jungle. The other reviewers did not exaggerate: You really can watch the monkeys while doing the dishes.

Great place to stay outside of town in the ‘jungle’, monkeys, humming birds inclusive. The wooden homes are equipped with everything you need for a longer stay. Modern, clean and comfortable. 5min drive from Samara Beach. Friendly and helpful host. Definitely recommend staying here!

The cabin is very spacious and well equipped. It's located in very quiet location with wonderful nature around including monkeys crossing over trees. The staff is super friendly, helpful and willing to meet your every demand. Xavi, the guy who runs the place, is always at hand giving tips and knowledge about the area. We stayed three nights with our daughters (6 and 4 years old) and they did not want to leave. The pool is also a blast.
