Location was superb, close to a great beach and wonderful range of eating options close by in the town and also on the beach. A very well stocked supermarket just up the road, and two more just minutes further on. Great little beach town, not too touristy but everything you need. The house had a good kitchen and well stocked cup boards with every thing you need. The outside patio was great for relaxing out of the sun but in the warmth. There were birds visiting and some big lizards too! Also excellent air conditioning and wifi too.

I loved the accommodation, the place is comfortable, has everything you need, I recommend it too much!!!!

“Good value for money but wouldn’t return”

The location and the bed was comfortable

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay. The studio is located behind the main house. At first glance, the small outdoor seating area didn’t seem very cozy as it’s nestled between two high walls (this wasn’t apparent from the pictures). However, we had the studio and the outdoor area all to ourselves and felt very comfortable. There was also a separate access, so we didn’t need to pass by the other apartments. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom lovely, with a shower that provided reliable hot water. We could walk to the beach within minutes, and if we’d forgotten something, it was easy to pop back quickly. The nights and mornings were filled with nature sounds and birdsong. Thanks to the mosquito nets, we could leave the windows open at night and hardly needed the air conditioning. In the morning, a friendly cat often came by for some affection. While the host wasn’t on site, communication, check-in and payment were seamless and reliable.

The location was within easy walking distance of the beach and town. The apartment is stylish and had real flare ... we loved it as soon as we walked in. Good kitchen facilities. Enjoyed sitting outside watching the hummingbirds.

The apartment was beautiful😀 Had everything you need, very big comfortable bed, good air con, 5 mins to beach, 5 mins to supermarket, bars and restaurants close by, even a umbrella provided Clean, nice sitting out area outside apartment and garden Good value for money We booked for 2 nights, but stayed 6, we liked it so much The hosts Christine and Thierry are lovely and helpful, would recommend and hopefully stay again

Fantastic place to stay and only a short walk from the beach and Christine was very helpful!

We were extremely happy with this room. It was very spacious and had all the amenities to feel like home: shelves/hangers for clothes, a kitchenette with full-sized fridge, microwave, utensils, cutting board, etc. AC kept us cool, and there was an additional bed and kitchen table to sit at -- the large space was one of the biggest benefits of this place. Outside there's a foot rinsing station (for sand) and a little thatched hut with some chairs and hammocks to sit and read in the shade. Every morning we were greeted by a pair of iguanas and some hummingbirds. The hosts were very responsive and nice to talk to.

We live in Costa Rica and escape to Samara as often as possible. We have stayed Casa Maiana for many years under prior and found the new owners Thierry and Christina to be gracious, welcoming and available to answer any questions you have. Casa Maiana is perfectly located for discovering Samara on foot - close to the beach, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets but off the beaten path and quiet. Highly recommend!

“A wonderful, comfortable stay in a perfect location”

The apartment was cute, comfortable and clean. Kitchen well stocked and a lovely space outdoors. Literally 2 minutes to the beach, a good supermarket, and on the edge of the main town streets (so close but calm).

The host was super nice, welcoming and very helpful. The apartment we got was super clean, well equipped and cosy. It is just a short walk to the wonderful beach of Samara. We loved Casa Maiana that much that we already decided to come back one day!
