“An incredible hotel and experience.”

What an incredible hotel and experience! A beautiful location and a very tasteful renovation. Wonderful rooms, we had a junior suite which was gorgeous. The staff were incredible, particularly Phillipa, Max and Miren but all were so fantastic! The food was fantastic, we had the tasting menu, garden menu and breakfast. The chef’s creation were amazing and this really should have a Michelin star! We also used the e-bikes to explore the beautiful countryside and bodegas. Lovely pool area and outdoor space. A fantastic experience where staff could not do enough for us. This could be the best hotel my husband and I have stayed in.

“An unforgettable experience”

An unforgettable experience, wonderful service, wonderful décor, a beautiful pool and its surroundings, and attention to detail, as evidenced by the provision of slippers, the closing of the blinds, and the sweet macaroons that awaited us upon our return to our room in the evening. We were saddened to learn that we couldn't extend our stay because the hotel was fully booked, but that only meant we had to return. A hotel for every discerning guest!

“A luxurious top notch stay with amazing accommodation and great restaurant”

This Palace says Quality all over the place. The attention to details, the quality of everything from materials in the room to everything at breakfast. A lovely bed with very comfortable sheets and duvets, a nice layout of the room and bathroom. Really fluffy slippers. The staff were very attentive which you would expect at this level hotels. It was the small things: they provide e-bikes for free, but you also can have a lock, helmets in different sizes, a GPS and a bag to go cycling around the vineyards. We enjoyed a dinner at Tierra y Vino, their Michelin recommended restaurant. We chose the 5-course dinner, and can recommend it.

“Luxurious and relaxing”

The breakfast was delicious but a little fussy. Pastries and a meat selection was put on the table each day and we do t really eat any of it. Bit of a waste. Would have preferred a buffet style or Oder exactly what we wanted.

Beautiful property with amazing art collection. The restaurant had exceptional food. Staff was very helpful in making arrangements and bookings. Located in a small town but close to some great wineries.

“Cozy and elegant.”

I LOVED my stay at Palacio de Samaniego! I don't know where to start. The facilities were impeccable; newly renovated it's clean and modern but classic. The building is well maintained and the staff are friendly and the place felt like home, I was very comfortable in it (felt safe, at home and physically comfortable the furniture was amazing). The hotel is like a little museum it was incredible with all of the art work you feel like you are living inside a little art gallery/museum. There are only 9 rooms so the hotel feels cozy and you know most of the people who are staying there with you. The staff are exceptional, I felt like I was in a B&B where everyone gets to know you and genuinely they were so kind and I got on with them, was sad to leave! Location is insanely amazing; the town only has the hotel and two wineries in walking distance but the hotel has almost everything you need. It's a great place if you are out all day and want to stay in and rest in the evening. You can walk out of the hotel and go on walks up the mountain behind it or down in the wineries below - it was breathtaking. The hotel has ebikes and we took them around to the villages nearby, such a bonus for the wine country! Overall the value was insane, at 300Euro/night you get so much but mostly you feel at ease.

The conversion of this beautiful building has been completed with great care. No expense has been spared to create a wonderful space in which to relax. Our room, Tempranillo, was perfectly laid out, with a small lobby offering storage for bags. Off to the side, before the bedroom, a very well laid out bathroom; two sinks with storage under. Through into the dressing area with plenty of hanging space, proper coat hangers and drawers under. Completing this area, a counter with tea / coffee making facilities, fridge and safe. The bedroom was a lovely space, muted colours and furniture. The attention to detail is outstanding, with art works through the building. In the lounge area, there is a beautiful collection of Murano glass, shown in display cabinets built through the wall to the restaurant, which also houses a wonderful collection of wine. Staff are friendly and engaging. Maximiliano was very helpful and in the restaurant, Miren and her team offered help with the selection of wines and menu choices. Parking is either at the side of the hotel on the street ( perfectly safe) or in a small enclosed courtyard across the road. All in all, a wonderful hotel.
