“Not great, but is the chepeast option in a town that gets a bit pricy”
Is nice that they allow selfcheck out after midnight, normally you will arrive super late coming from Sucre. Location is good and there is a small kitchen you can use.

Maria, the host was very accommodating. Really nice garden and a great place to relax. The cats were cute and it’s in a really good location, 5 minutes from the main square and taxis.

The second most rude and unfriendly hostel in my 6 months traveling South America. If you take the bus from Sucre, you arrive to Samaipata very tired very early in the morning, and the hostel sends you a message "Check-in is at 14.00. You cannot get in before 14.00". There is even a sign by the door with the same message. When I pointed out the issue, the reply I received was "this is not our responsibility". (Which technically it isn't, it's just standard hostel culture, not to mention common decency)

The garden was lovely and peaceful, a perfect place to relax on warm afternoons after a morning hike. Maria was very welcoming and accommodating, and her cats were great.

The staff is really friendly, the outside kitchen is well equiped, the garden is so nice to use, posibility to wash your clothes or to make a hand-wash and let the clothes dry in the sun.
