The camp was located away from the crowded part of the desert giving a very personal experience. The facilities were very well maintained. The food was freshly prepared home style and served with Rajasthani hospitality.

It is a great experience to be in midst of the desert, and Kafila is a good mix of comfortable living and enjoying the sandy surrounds. The camp is spacious, clean and well-maintained. Staff and crew are one of the highlights for the level of attention and individualised service. Food spread is wide and delicious with several Rajasthani specialities. Got the opportunuty to meet the inspirational owner, who shared the background, use of local artisans and local artists to engage the guests. Paramjeet, Deepika,Mool Singh and team made the experience special. Kudos to the behind-the-scenes chef and sous chef for churning out yum food. Thank you!

“Highly Recommend”

Hospitality at the Kafila was amazing. The team led by Paramjeet was just perfect. They were available when we need and making sure we are comfortable all through the stay. The stay included a clean luxurious tent, big bathroom with hot water. We did an evening safari including a camel ride, tea at the dune along with the beautiful sunset. The camp also has beautiful architecture and peacocks that hang around in the mornings. We celebrated a family member's birthday. At a short notice, the Kafila was able to setup an exclusive celebration with candles, tiki bar, cake and performance. Special shout out for Abrahim for taking great pictures.

Our first desert stay turned out to be a delightful surprise, thanks to the amazing staff. Right from helping us with reservations to giving us the lowdown on transportation and activities, they were super helpful and genuinely welcoming. The organized events, like abondoned village tours, sunset watching with camels and stargazing, were unexpectedly cool. We even had the choice of using a professional telescope – a nice touch! And when it came to food, my friend couldn't eat spicy/chilli food, they took this into consideration when preparing her food. What made the stay even better was the friendly atmosphere. It was great seeing women in roles where you don't usually find them. Shoutout to Mr. Mool for being patient with all our questions and making sure we felt at home. This place is a gem, and we'd recommend it in a heartbeat! We stayed 2 days to experience everything and we didn't regret it. A quick note about transportation: We prioritized our safety and asked the camp to arrange a vehicle. The vehicles were comfortable but more expensive than normal. If you want to make transportation cheaper, you can arrange a taxi from the airport.

“Short but enjoyable stay in Sam”

The best thing about it was the staff ! very very courteous and supportive. we faced a situation with regards to payment to the property and they were super kind in helping us resolve it without any sho shaa. thank you Paramjeetji and his staff. They have some delicious Rajasthani food to offer for dinner/package you select along with some super breakfast. one of the best Upma I have had in breakfast. Tents are very spacious and has instant hot water facility The folk music and dance was really fun and enjoyable with some delicious hot Indian snacks served to us. Book your visit to dunes as per your convenience and they will have it arranged very well ! Thank you Kafila and team, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay ! definitely worth recommending !

“Tranquility in the desert”

One of the few luxury and upscale acco options in Sam Dunes Jaisalmer. We were very happy with our choice. The staff is professional and the level of service exceeds your expectations!
