“Relax and rejuvenate”
Lovely appartment with everything you could possibly need, chilled and relaxing. Paticular mention to Mookkie at reception for her care and help during our stay, also O in the restaurant/bar for his friendly deminer.

“Wow what a resort.”
WOW. What a nice resort. I stayed here a few times during the last years and it is always a real pleasure. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The reception explained everything during check in and is of great assistance in case you need anything. The house was spacious very comfortable and clean and direct at a huge pool. The best is the restaurant with a great breakfast and very delicious food. Our heartfelt thanks goes to the chef and service staff to accommodate our special wishes. We will be back.

“A deeply disappointing experience and a lack of humanity”
We had been in Thailand since December 17 with my wife and our two sons, including our eldest, Arsène, who has a rare medical condition. His condition requires urgent medical attention if he experiences fever or prolonged fasting, as it can quickly become life-threatening. On January 2, we checked into the Oriental Beach Pearl Resort in Sam Roi Yot, an establishment that seemed like the perfect place to relax and enjoy its large pool. Unfortunately, on the first night, Arsène started suffering from severe vomiting, which required immediate medical intervention. We had to activate our emergency protocol and take him to the nearest hospital in Hua Hin, about an hour away. The hotel was fully informed of the situation since they called a taxi for us at 11 PM. Knowing that hospitalization would take several days, we took all our luggage with us, believing we could handle this difficult situation without any additional stress. To my shock and dismay, despite the life-threatening medical emergency and the fact that we had stayed only one night, the hotel refused any refund, not even a partial one. While I could have understood them keeping part of the payment for the night or other incurred expenses, outright denying any reimbursement in such an exceptional and critical situation is, in my view, unacceptable and deeply lacking in humanity. On top of this, while the hotel may have been beautiful in its prime, it is now aging and poorly maintained. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, especially for families or anyone hoping to find empathy and proper customer service in case of unforeseen circumstances.

The large swimming pools around the villa area. The roof top private barbecue. Big room. Clean. Kitchen (came handy for cooking). The breakfast was good and nice view over the pools. And the provided shuttle to your room. Aircon broke during stay but it was quickly fixed! It was quite an ice show for Christmas haha.

The location of the resort, the cleanliness and the professional customer service of the reception and drivers. They made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The 3 bedroom Villa we had was sufficient for the 5 of us plus we had a huge rooftop area with BBQ, seating, bar area and jacuzzi.
