I stayed at Fisherman House for three months, and it became the perfect place for me. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful — any question I had was always quickly resolved. My room was new, stylish, and full of light. I lived in a 52-square-meter unit with a sea view. At first, I was worried that the nearby river might bring humidity or unpleasant smells, but there was absolutely none of that. The room faced the sunrise side, and after about 12 PM the sun moved away, so it stayed bright but pleasantly cool — I barely had to use the air conditioner. I always kept the windows open, there were no mosquitoes, and a fresh breeze came in from the sea. I couldn’t hear my neighbors at all — the soundproofing is excellent. The pool was always clean, and even during the high season, it was never crowded. You can borrow a bicycle for free, which is a great bonus. Just 10 meters from the house, there’s a laundry facility for residents — it costs only 50 baht per load. That said, it’s best to stay here if you have transportation — either a motorbike or a car. The roads are excellent and almost empty, which makes driving around very easy and relaxed. This is truly a great place if you want to stay somewhere peaceful and away from the busy tourist areas, and really unwind. Just a couple minutes away is the promenade with a great walking path. During high tide, swimming isn't ideal due to the water ramps, but at low tide, a beautiful, clean beach opens up — and it’s usually empty too. There are cafés and shops within a 3–10 minute walk. At first it might seem like there’s nothing around, but that’s not the case :) You’ll also find gyms, local markets, and massage places nearby. I absolutely loved everything about it!

Cleaning, clean towels and bed linen are only once every 2 weeks and there are very few of them. In addition, there are no cleaning equipment in the room.
