Great villa directly on the beach

Upstairs deck was very peaceful and location was convenient to restaurants and beach but not at the crowded end of town.

We loved the location and facilities. The hotel is right by the beach which means you get a sunset view even from the balcony. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is lovely.

The room is very clean and very comfortable. The staff pays attention to every detail. The hotel is located directly at the beach and it’s just such an amazing view to wake up to the sound of the ocean. The breakfast is great and the pool as well.

Location is in front of the beach, very quiet and peaceful especially in the morning and the afternoons. You can read in the hamac or stay upstairs in the open terrace watching the sea or people on the beach or you can just go and jump in the pool if too lazy to go to the beach or walk up to there and take a dip in the sea. We loved it. The only thing was the room was smaller than I tought but it did not bother us as we were always outside , they are very comfortable facilities and several sofas where to rest. We prefer be outside, going in the room just to sleep or change. Staff was also very accommodating.

My wife and I spent a few nights here but it was some of the best nights we’ve had in a hotel. I’ll start with the hospitality and warmth of the hosts here: we had a flight delay and ended up arriving a day after we were meant to, but they were kind enough to offer us a free night. The manager Laye was super helpful in getting my wife's delayed luggage back, showing us the city and made our stay infinitely better than it would have been. The hotel in itself is a beauty, the decor is so lovely and well thought of, everything just works! The complimentary breakfast as well is an experience. I’d recommend MIMA any day anytime, an easy 5 stars for me.

The thing we loved the most about Mima was the fact that it was in a very quiet area, so peaceful and very friendly staff. Laye and the other young man's service was exceptional and the breakfast 10/10.

We had the best week at Mima!! First of all the house itself is BEAUTIFUL, stylishly decorated, and the location is perfect, away from the hustle of Saly center but a short walk from several cute restaurants and local shops. The beach itself is really nice and you can walk in either direction for even more stunning beaches and delicious seafood lunches at any of the numerous beach shack restaurants. The staff were AMAZING too, super helpful and friendly! They helped us out with tips, organizing excursions, driving us around/helping us get taxis, etc. Finally, do make sure you try the dinners at Mima at least one night during your stay since the food is delicious! We would love to come back.

(Sea)view you want to keep forever while relaxing on the terrace of this small-scale beach house - ideal spot for daydreaming and experiencing Senegalese teranga hospitality. Veerle and her team have - with love and a great eye for detail - created an amazingly beautiful and welcoming spot right on the beach.

We enjoyed our stay very much, Mima is super comfortable, we loved the modern design of the place, the beach walks, relaxed in the pool, cooked in the well equipped kitchen and felt very looked after by Laye and his team. All in all we had a very relaxing stay!

Our time in Mima‘s Beach House was amazing and unforgettable, it was paradise and more than I was expecting! The house is so beautiful, having breakfast in the morning with an amazing ocean view made me speechless! The whole Mima team is so loving and caring , that it feels like family, it felt like home! Special thanks to Laye and Mima, you are wonderful! We will never forget our time in Mima‘s beach house and surely will come back!

The property is absolutely gorgeous, I don’t think the pictures do it justice. I would recommend it to anyone & would be staying there again. I love how clean everything was and the friendly service.
