Pousada Baluarte is a little treasure in the heart of Santo Antonio, lots of bars and restaurants around, but quiet at the same time. The host Zelina is the added value, kind and smooth presence inside the pousada, full of useful suggestions to live and visit Salvador. Thanks for preparing breakfast (served in terrace) every morning.

It's a lovely place, centrally located. The room was really nice, the bed was comfortable and the view was amazing. Zelina was a great host. Breakfast was delicious.

“Beautiful house and incredible shower.”
Good location at the very bottom of San Antônio, which makes it walkable to and after day or night out locally. Best shower in the whole of Bahia! Good breakfast suitable for vegan.

“Good value for money!”

“Perfect Choice”
I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful property. The lovely hostess treated me like a guest of honor. She is a true hospitality professional with a warm and friendly spirit. I loved my stay here and wish I could have extended it longer. I slept well on the comfortable and solid mattress and the breakfast was fantastic as well! It was an exceptional experience!

“Amazing stay with an amazing host!”
Everything was perfect. The property is in a good location near the historical center..The rooms are clean and the overall design respect the culture and vibe of Bahia. The best part for me was definitely the breakfast which I was looking forward to everyday...
