It has a great rooftop with a view of the whole city, our room was spacious and amenities comfortable. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way elsewhere, so in that sense, this hotel served its purpose great. I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay in Salvador as it’s not the cutest neighborhood.

“We enjoyed our stay in Intercity Hotel. We have very good time visit Salvador for the first time.”
We stayed in the Suite room with a comfortable King size bed. They added a single bed for my son for only additional 30% charge. The room is big and clean and it has a balcony for us to get the fresh air. We all enjoyed the breakfast every morning especially the guava juice. The staffs are always nice to us.

“a difficult hotel to stay in. Room service Menus are difficult to use, dont give invoices for paymen”
My colleagues and I were not supplied with invoices or receipts. The staff said it would come by email but we didn’t get them. So we cannot claim business expenses.

“In my opinion the hotel needs major room updates i.e. beds, wallpaper, & free bottles of water.”
The best thing about my stay at Intercity was the people at the front desk, especially Ana, & Murilo (who spoke perfect English) they were so warm and friendly. Then there was Neia who worked in the breakfast room along with the cooks. They made sure that I was comfortable.
