This is a small, personalized guest house situated half a block from Itapoan Beach, a 15-minute drive from the airport and 45 minutes by car from the historical center of Salvador. Every room provided by the Pousada Encanto de Itapoan features a balcony with hammock, air conditioning, private bathroom, telephone, cable TV and minibar. A delicious breakfast awaits you every morning by the pool, where you can enjoy the sun with privacy while savoring cold caipirinhas all day long. The beach is only a few meters away. The staff was very nice. It was near to the beach. Close by there are good restaurants. From the beach there is an amazing view of the city at sunset. The lighthouse is also good. Breakfast is full and well prepared.

“An excellent pousada if in Itacare”
The staff was professional and kind. The location was excellent, a few blocks from one of the local beaches and quite close to the village center, full of restaurants and shops, where capoeira shows take place in the street every evening, but far enough to be quiet. Both the common areas and the room were clean. The room was large enough for me alone. Breakfast was very good.

Lovely place with character and a gorgeous palm fruits in the middle of the hall. Just 15 minutes by car from the airport. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast from 6 to 10 am! Going out at night is not recommended because the area is deserted when it's dark, but the staff helped us to order nice food from a restaurant near by. Small room but a great and comfortable veranda with sofas - we had a very relaxing stay.
