The hostel is really spacious and nice. It is imple enough, but the facilities that are promised (hot shower, wi-fi, luggage storage, potable water) are there and work perfectly. The breakfast is really nice and the owner Helio is the nicest host I have encountered so far while staying in different hostels all over Brazil

The hostel is located in a very central neighborhood close to the Beach. Also perfect during pre-carneval and carneval season. Helio, the host and his crew took so well care of us and were helpful with every question!! I loved spending time with the kind-hearted people at the hostel and there is a uplifting, inclusive energy in this hostel. All the facilities were clean and up to the expectations for the price we paid. The breakfast served was also really good with different options. I‘d definitely come back there again!

“Not great value compared to other places we stayed in the city”
Friendly member of staff at the reception helped check us in and translate what was happening. Our room was very basic and small but clean.

“A simple but pleasant stay, made special by the staff.”
I stayed only one night at the hostel, but it was a great experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Since it was my last night and my flight was late at night, they allowed me to leave my belongings there all day and even let me take a shower before heading to the airport. The hostel is just a 10-minute walk from the beach.

Breakfast was good, and the owner was very kind. There were lockers in the room, which was nice. The hostel is well located. It’s a very relaxed and chill vibe which i really liked.

The hostel is simple and cozy with a loving and warm atmosphere! The hosts there are some of the most kind and welcoming people I have met on my trip in Brazil. They will try their best to make you feel at home, and help you with anything you might need!

Helio is the kindest host you could wish for. The rooms are lovely, and the breakfast is amazing! I would definitely recommend spending some time here if you're passing through Barra. Thanks for having us Helio!
