I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. What stood out most to us was how friendly and helpful all the staff members, Diana the owner , Dudaa and the friendly woman from the breakfast were. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and throughout our stay the employees were always ready to help with a smile.

“Great stay in Salvador!”
We really enjoyed our experience at Casa Petúnia. The location is excellent. Perfect for exploring the historic centre, close to the Farol da Barra and the seafront promenade, ideal for sunset walks. The hosts were fantastic, and the breakfast was delicious, with authentic Bahian flavours prepared with love by two wonderful cooks. The pousada itself is full of character, beautifully decorated with a strong artistic soul, truly inspiring for travellers and artists, while still being very comfortable. Although the property shows some signs of age, it is very well cared for and maintained with great attention. Highly recommended for its location, safety, and the warmth of its hosts!

“An authentic and characterful Bahia Pousada”
Staying here is like staying in a friend's stylish Bahia home. Wonderful, friendly and attentive staff, astonishingly good breakfasts which changed every day and a feel- good atmosphere around the Pousada. I also appreciated that they helped me with my laundry at low cost
