Tilian is a lovely hostal with a fine breakfast which includes unlimited tea, coffee and juice. The room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean with a great shower. Toiletries and towels are provided. There is a garden outside you can enjoy and it’s in a quiet location that is only 15 minutes on foot from the centre of the city one way, or the bus terminal the other way. The thing that really made us enjoy our stay here were the staff. Honestly some of the friendliest and most helpful staff we’ve met. They kept our luggage for us whilst we went on a mini trip for 2 weeks, they were helpful with information and let us stay at the hostel for the day and use the communal kitchen even when we’d checked out and were waiting for our night bus. They even put our stored luggage in our room for us on the day we were returning from our mini trip. They went above the level they needed to, to be helpful, kind and make us feel at home and we’re really grateful. It was a pleasure to know them.

The hostel is simple, there is hot water in the bathroom and fast internet. There is a lobby with comfortable sofas upstairs. Sweet breakfast is served in the morning. The location is good, not far from the main square. The staff is nice.

“Ok for a short stay”
The staff is very friendly, good value for less money. Breakfast is ok, croissant and bread with marmalade and butter.
