Really clean, modern, spacious rooms in a good location walking distance to the main plaza. The pool was a nice bonus and being heated and undercover meant we could spend a whole afternoon in the pool. Breakfast was nice too.

The biggest downside of this hotel is the complete lack of staff who can say even a single word in English. The people at the reception stare at guests as if they were a strange phenomenon and are unable to respond to anything. The check-out process is a real comedy — one person speaks English while the other only Spanish. The only competent person who actually spoke the language was the parking attendant. The hotel service is an absolute disaster.

Pool was lovely and warm, massages available, breakfast was nice. Secure parking below (extra cost). Good location for restaurants, peñas and sightseeing.

Overall, it was a nice experience. I have stayed at Casa Real twice now. The location is good, the rooms are very big and the stay overall was quite comfortable.
