Overview
Abbaye de Sainte Croix is a magnificent 12th Century abbey that was fully restored in the 70's to become a beautiful 4-star hotel in Salon-de-Provence. WiFi is available in shared areas free of charge. The monks’ former living quarters have been converted into luxury suites and guest rooms and are defined by their original, superb Romanesque architecture that features high-vaulted ceilings and rustic decor. Restaurant La Table de L'Abbaye offers refined cuisine and excellent local vintages, and you can enjoy panoramic views while dining on the terrace. The hotel is about a 45 km scenic drive from Avignon, Les Baux de Provence and Aix en Provence. The surrounding area also provides many activities such as mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, sailing, water-skiing and diving. We have 2 electric vehicle charging station. When travelling with pets, please note that an extra charge of 15€ per pet, per night applies.

“A unique place worth visiting”
A beautiful place with unique charm and history. Unusual, tastefully renovated interiors, but retaining the character of the monastery. Relatively easy to get to. Breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable beds. Large bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. Bathrobes, which is a big plus. Deck chairs and a table with chairs on the terrace next to the room. Quiet and pleasant. An ideal place for a trip out of town and a weekend for two. Very friendly service. Large free parking lot. There is an elegant restaurant on site. Good breakfast. Nevertheless, thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely be back.

“Spectacular views”
Absolutely stunning location with a spectacular view. Good parking facilities. Close to town but very quiet. Room with a spacious terrace. Room itself a little bit small but in generally convenient. Everything already quite old but very clean. Staff very nice.

“Fine for a short stop with a dog, though pricey for the value, but not recommend for a longer stay.”
The room was spacious with a beautiful view, overlooking the abbey and its surroundings. The property offers generous open areas, making it especially comfortable if you’re traveling with a dog. Breakfast was delicious, and the bed provided a very comfortable night’s sleep.

“Beautiful building with a great swimming pools and views”
Beautiful building in an old monastery and you stay in the monks rooms. The location has some of the best views Ive seen in a while and there are loads of nice walks around the area. The pool was one of the best parts of the hotel - so peaceful and a great size. We ate for dinner one night in the restaurant and the food was brilliant and they even had gluten free bread. The breakfast was simple but nice and the fresh OJ machine was delcious!
