“Panorámic views of the Sea”

The view was spectacular, the location was amazing (very close to the castle) and my husband said it was the best shower he'd ever had!! The balcony was spacious and private. The restaurant La Roka looked wonderful but unfortunately was closed the day we wanted to eat there.

Second time staying in this fantastic place. Unbelievable view from the good sized terrace out to the sea and the mountains. A really unique place to stay and I can't recommend it highly enough. Owner is really welcoming and helpful.

“Excellent stay at La Roka.”

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at La Roka. We knew it was up the hill , so we walked it first to enable navigating the streets by car. We then drove up and found a parking spot in a car park 20 metres from the property. Enrike was in the restaurant to greet us and show us the room. The room itself was very well appointed, compact but not claustrophobic. It was all very modern and super clean. Our host was very charming and explained all the amenities to us. He told us he would always be available should we need him. The views from balcony are stunning . A huge panorama of the Mediterranean and also a view of the castle. The restaurant is directly below. The balcony is quite large and if you are sat on the chairs you're not visible to the restaurant clientele.Yes, there is noise from the restaurant and also music, but my wife and I found it only added to the ambience. It was nice to hear people enjoying themselves. The best part is just before the restaurant opens and as the sun goes down they play Nessun Dorma, it is exquisitely fitting and actually quite emotional. I have a video on my phone that I will treasure. Our host was extremely convivial and accommodating. My wife and I have had the true luxury of international travel around the globe, and the view from the balcony was in our up there with our best. We absolutely adored Salobrena and stayed in the old town for the restaurants in the evening. Most have panoramic views and the food was excellent at all. It is up a very steep incline and it may not be good if you have mobility issues, however, if you are happy to drive up and down it's fine. My wife and I enjoyed the hike on a daily basis but it is quite tiring if you are of a certain age and stature. I would recommend La Roka highly.

View from the rooms were amazing and the whole room was set up very well. Staff were lovely and we are in the restaurant on our first night.

Book a table in the restaurant downstairs, just do it.

Absolutely fantastic. The location was superb within old pueblo blanco on the top of the cliff. The fews spectacular, facilities incredible and the staff uber friendly. Highly recommended place. The food in the restaurant was top notch too.
