This is an interesting hotel in the sense that it feels wonderfully vintage, original, and very well maintained. The staff are friendly. There is no restaurant on-site, and you do need a car to get around. They have an indoor pool and sauna, both in that same charming vintage style. Very nice!

“Personal and interesting hotel”
Loved the architecture and style. There was obviously a lot of history in the hotel. The staff was super nice and it was always a pleasure talking to them. The breakfast really included options for everyone.

“It is a pleasant place to stay”
I liked the bicycle/stroller ramps down the stairs to the rooms. The staff was kind enough to let me keep my bicycle in my room on the balcony. They also gave good recommendations for restaurants nearby. The breakfast had a lot of selection: I liked the espresso maker too.

“Great little hotel , quiet , safe , clean and friendly 10/10”
What a great little hotel and ex home to the Nokia boss , very friendly and helpful staff , nice breakfast with everything you need , the rooms were very comfortable and clean and there was a small swimming pool and sauna , easy 10min walk to local shop and pizza place , 15min walk into Salo itself

“A cozy hotel in quiet surroundings”
The breakfast was decent, albeit the selection was narrow. The sauna and spa were quite decent, although I didn't check whether the swimming pool was heated or not. The hotel had a nice cozy atmosphere and the personnel was great!
