“First day and night was satisfactory, second night not so much! The office staff was friendly enoug,”
The room was good until our second night and we were abruptly woken up by the smoke detector going off at 230 in the morning, got up and looked for fire and noticed the carpet was all wet halfway across the room. Water was streaming out of the smoke detector, called the office and they moved us to another room. We had two dogs, aged 16 and 14, one was sick and we had to pack up all our bags and put these dogs in the car and move to another room, the wind was blowing about 30-40 mph and temperature was 35. In the morning I went to turn in the room keys and asked about a partial refund, no straight answer.

“Crappy worst motel in sallisaw”
There wasn't anything I liked it was missing microwave sink stopped up no chair to set in and the bed broke it was the worst motel I've ever been to for a 3 star and the 2 star one beside it is better then this one for sure

Someone burnt some popcorn in the microwave. The smell stayed in the room the whole time I was there. It lingered in the room. Other than that, everything else was great.

“We did not stay because of the location.”
We were just driving through on a long road trip from Georgia to New Mexico. I booked it with my phone just before we arrived. Before we even looked at the room, my husband decided we would not stay because of the appearance of the location. He did not feel the belongings in the bed of our truck would be safe. So we cancelled and went on to the next town.
