We had such a lovely stay at this woodland cabin retreat. If you’re looking for luxury and modern conveniences, this probably isn’t the place — but if you want peace, simplicity, and a proper back-to-nature experience, it’s absolutely perfect. The cabin was cosy and charming, and we really enjoyed the hands-on aspect of chopping the logs provided to heat both the cabin and the hot tub. It made the whole stay feel authentic and rewarding. Sitting in the wood-fired hot tub under the trees after getting the fire going was definitely a highlight. The separate compost loo and shower setup might not be for everyone, but everything was clean, well thought out, and in keeping with the eco-friendly, off-grid feel of the place. It was refreshing to disconnect and slow down.
