“Good stay for one night”
The motel in Salida was perfectly fine for a one-night stay. The room was simple but clean, and everything worked as expected. Check-in was easy. It’s not luxurious, but it’s a good option if you just need a convenient place to sleep for the night.

“Comfortable, clean and quiet stay, great for an overnight stop”
This was our first time staying in a motel/ lodge, coming from the UK. It was so clean, comfortable, easy and quiet. The bed was soft and really comfortable, I slept really well. There was a big tv, little kitchenette area with a coffee machine, fridge and microwave, super clean sink area. Check in was easy. The breakfast is simple and you help yourself but we enjoyed a little sausage and egg muffin before hitting the road. Would stay again!

“Great overnight stay”
Nicely furnished rooms with everything you’d need. The lady that checked us in was really friendly. Right next door to Casa Calaca - we had great food there - if you didn’t want to drive into town (just a couple of miles away). The breakfast at the Lodge was a really welcome surprise - great choices to set us up for our journey back to Denver and then home to the UK.

The view surrounding us was breathtaking. Travel in any direction, and it's more beautiful still. The staff were helpful and attentive. Deer stroll about unconcerned. Good food choices and good music all nearby.
