“Beautiful farm stay in a peaceful surrounding”

We loved our stay here - the best in Colombia! Great staff, taking care of the guests, kind animals that our daughter loved, tasty breakfast… The location is beautiful and peaceful, we made fire in the evening with marshmallows, milked the cows in the morning, you can go riding a horse… go there if you have a chance! Both Salento and Cocora valley entrance easily accessible by car.

“Beautiful, comfortable, quiet”

Absolute peace, serenity and comfort! The location is super beautiful, the beds are soft with gorgeous thick duvets, the shower is hot, the staff are welcoming and attentive. The photos actually don't do it justice, it's so much prettier in real life. We were very well looked after and it was a shame to have to leave.

Lovely old farmhouse with nice small houses close by. Beutiful quiet location in the valley. Very comfortable beds and warm blankets in the cabin (great when chilly at night). Good food too.

The location is wonderfull, truly one of our nicest stays in colombia so far. Lovely view from the small Bath at our lodge, to really relax and enjoy nature after one of the hikes in cocora! Also nice staff, that will bring you without any problems to the entry of valle de cocora! And the bed was amazing for a good night rest! Just great!

“A peaceful place to have rest and enjoy the nature.”

The staff is so lovely and helpful. They speak English and I had long talks about life in Colombia which were very interesting. The place feels like paradise, if you are looking for rest and calm. I could borrow boots for the hike in the valley of Cocora from the hotel, they are very considerate. If you have a car, Salento is just a quarter away.if you don’t have a car, there are jeeps driving during the day to the valley and Salento, you can just stop them along the road. There are lovely cats and dogs with which you can just play at the property. I am very happy that I found this place to stay.

“Incredible stay”

Beautiful, unique farm (with cows & horses) - 20 minutes from Salento. We stayed in the private chalet and it was a truly wonderful experience. The views are absolutely gorgeous, it feels like you're completely alone and the bed is super comfy. It does get a bit chilly in the night, but there are enough blankets to keep you warm. Don't expect super hot water, but the hot tub is very nice after a long hike and the view from it is incredible. The owner helped us with everything we needed for the hike (boots, rain coats, walking sticks, etc.) which made our hike experience 10 times better. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing nature. really friendly and helpful staff. Hernan helped us arrange tours and have very good suggestions. the breakfast was very nice with a buffet of fruits. in the evening we ask for a tasty chicken soup that was not in the menu and that was not a problem for the senora in the kitchen. A warm bath under the stars was something extra.

We had a great stay here and would've stayed longer! Very spacious rooms, very clean and excellent comfort. Very warm and friendly owner and staff, they try to help you plan your stay and even offer transfers to closeby attractions. Quiet and beautiful environment. Very fresh and good breakfast. If you want to get away from the crowds and get immersed in nature being able to still visit the touristic attractions in the area, this is the place to go to!

We had a wonderful stay, the high light of our stay in Colombia! Very peaceful environment, wonderful and generous people, we felt so welcome. The breakfast was Delicious and the dogs and all the animals so lovely. The cabins are very private and the hottub was great after a long day of hiking. The view is fantastic. “Lovely chalet on a working farm with super nice people”

Very well located on lots of acres on a working cow farm, close to the Cocora valley. Delicious breakfast (different things from day to day) and optional fast food in the evening. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful, even helped us to sort out problems with our next accommodation. Gave great recommendations for walks and restaurants. Chalet was beautiful with a very comfy and wide bed. Nice to sit in your private bathtub outside.

Great welcome, Hernan made our trip perfect. One of the nicest people we’ve met. Thanks again for everything! Location is great to visit the Cocora Valley, a bit secluded from Salento but worth it. Very beautiful and serene.

Our stay at Pino Hermoso exceeded our expectations and we simply cant wait to go back. It is a wonderful alternative to the hectic Salento. The owner was really nice and drove us to the Cocora Valley in the morning to avoid the crowds. We did not have a car but it was not a problem at all to get to the hotel as there are local and safe taxis available. The food is delicious and home made (with vegan or vegeterian options), rooms are spacious and clean, staff attentive and helpful. If you are searching for peaceful place to relax and enjoy the nature and local hospitality it is definitely a place to go.

Nicely located hotel. Away from main road. Quiet and nice. Very nice owner- helped us out as much he can- respect. Even pick up us from road - it was too many cars on street to get willie jeep. Very recommended.

Julian is a great host. He was very accommodating and friendly. He offered plenty of advice and guidance, and arranged very memorable activities such as a camp fire and planting a tree. He arranged a dinner for us and breakfast was excellent. My family will have great memories from our stay.
